About Kristen
I’m Kristen, the face behind KB Photos & Design. I’m so glad you found me here! I’ve been a Missouri girl for most of my life, and I’m proud to be photographing amazing couples, families and seniors here in STL.
Life moves fast, and I aim to capture sweet moments in time that you will cherish for years to come. Babies get bigger. Seniors graduate. That fine fiancé becomes your spouse. That baby bump becomes your first born. Capture the precious moments now.
Little nervous about the camera? Don’t worry, I GOT YOU. My approach to photography has always been personable. I pride myself in helping everyone to feel comfortable in front of my camera. I’ve been known to sing, dance a little jig, and generally entertain during shoots - there’s not much I won’t do to help bring out your confidence!
From couples on their wedding days, to capturing memories for high school seniors, documenting maternity and growing families, and offering headshots and team branding sessions for businesses, I enjoy it all. Ready to dive in? Let’s get in touch.
So. Much. Water.
Formerly a photographer at the Lake of the Ozarks, I became very acclimated to photographing on docks and on speed boats! It was such a joy to capture destination wedding photos for couples from all over the country. I was proud that I never did take an accidental swim!
My husband and our kiddos relocated back to Saint Louis a few years ago, trading in the water for the suburban life. We absolutely love our neighbors, access to all the kid-friendly places in St. Louis, and having a fence with a backyard so we could get our (big) puppy Luna!
My Family!
These boys are my world. My husband Andy and I celebrated 16 years married this year, and we have two incredible kids Zachary and Nathan.
Travel is a huge passion of ours. On our bucket list is to see all 63 U.S. National Parks. I think we’re at 21 now? Among our travels, we’ve roadtripped across the Midwest to visit National Parks in Utah, Colorado and Nevada. And we just got back from a trip to Olympic National Park in the Pacific Northwest!
